Model Student is Sara Pearcy (Sassi Photography) & Mel Mielekamp (Meloo Photography).
Originally conceived during a Trash-the-Dress photoshoot in 2008, Mel and Sara thought it would be great to create fun, grungy and funky images of teens as they were celebrating their final year of school. “Senior” photography has been a very popular theme in the United States for many years and Mel and Sara liked the idea of revamping it and bringing “Senior” photography to Australia!
For the parents:
We aim to take beautiful images of your high school senior that you will be proud to have on your walls and your son or daughter will not feel embarrassed by. No more mottled studio background with a stuffy shirt and smile… our photoshoots are fun and natural. We aim to capture images of the child you are proud of, looking as they do in real life!
For the students:
We’d love to meet your parents – that’s a given – but we don’t need to have them tag along for the shoot. We want you relaxed and being yourself. Group shoots are available for additional comfort and safety. {Each of you will be treated as a seperate shoot, but will stay together at all times.}
